Wow - this cheery red Chevy Coupe could be a great stand in for Santa's sleigh! This beauty is part of the all-around-town vintage car collection that is sponsored by Truly Nolen. This coupe is from 1940.
Ah, memories. My first car was a 1937 Chevy 4-door...black, of course. But I lowered it, put on dual pipes, fender skirts, took off the ornamentation...it looked pretty cool!
One of the coolest things about this ongoing campaign is that Truly Nolen moves the cars around town frequently. So you can look forward to certain locations in town "hosting" a car but you never know what the make or model will be when it is switched out.
Love the Southwest? Love Tucson? Every day on "Tucson Daily Photo" you'll see a new image that might be beautiful, unusual, fun, or maybe even inspirational.
Welcome!

I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:

ReplyDeleteNice photo of a beauty!
Love it! I meant to comment on yesterday's pic too but forgot - it was super.
