My big Grizzly boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge ~

It was time for my big friend to be released from his body so that his spirit can run free. I'm lucky to have so many photos of him throughout the years and this one is one of my favorites. He was about a year or two old and he couldn't decide if he wanted his milkbone or his rawhide chew - why not have both? (: He was a loyal companion, a fierce protector, and a wonderful friend. I will miss him every day - my big boy, my amazing Grizzly.

  2. Thinking of you and hoping Grizzly has joined our beloved rainbow friends on a mythical Blasket Island Ireland....chasing hares and running up and down the hills - as happy as any dog could ever be!

  3. Thank you. I am getting some comfort imagining him running again ~ living without pain. Having him as part of my family and taking care of him was a wonderful experience. I know that dogs can make us better people. It happened to me.

  4. There simply will never be another Grizzly, who deeply touched my life as well. This noble big boy had much to teach us about life and joy, and in return Dianne gave him one of the happiest, most loved trips through this world that anyone could ever hope for. His spirit lives on and he's waiting patiently for his mommy Dianne whose side he really will never leave. Grizzly has something!! (Stump wiggles.)
