Purple people shelter ~

Here is one of the many beautiful bus shelters that dot the landscape in Tucson. The bright colors and beautifully tiled trash can make this a really nice place to sit and wait for SunTran. Fun!

    All of South Tucson seems to have benefitted from this "practical art" movement. Other bus stop shelters with the same design (people stretching up to the sun to hold the roof up) are painted blue, turquoise, and bright pink. Fun!
