Here's another fun piece of sculpture from one of Martin Street's round-abouts. Yesterday I posted a kooky butterfly (another one is visible here in the background).
I was looking through photographs from 2 years ago when I visited my mom and I have a photo of one of these beautiful butterflies with a sculpture of a person next to it. I think mine was take around highland and spring. I love these whimsical sculptures.

I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:
This is a great piece of sculpture. It does fit right in with the landscape doesn't it. All brown and rusty.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that the flat surface of the flower would be perfect for a solar panel! Now THAT would stop traffic, don't you think?
