Feedback, please ~

Hi everyone, It would be helpful to me to hear from you. When I post photos for several days in a row that generate no comments, I have to wonder if I should be posting different kinds of photos - or providing more (or less) information about the thing/place/event. What do you like viewing most? What would you like to see more of? Less of? Thanks.

  1. I like seeing Tucson photos. I just don't always comment. Not sure why. I think I like the unusual places, I loved the Barrio district when you posted those. I love seeing the cactus in yards. Especially older yards that have had time to grow. I guess I would say I find the stores and shops the least interesting.
I also like seeing interesting doorways, walls etc. The things that make Tucson so unique.
    Hope that helps.

  4. I check every day; rarely comment. Love the cross section of areas/subjects, etc...some more than others, but that's just life. Please keep it up! (and I always love puzzles, so your mystery spots are great..but you probably already know that about me :-> )

  7. I'm not sure if you ever comment on other people's blogs but people do like to get feedback and if you never return the visit and comment to them they probably aren't too inclined to visit or comment on yours.

  8. I'm the "visitor from Raleigh, NC" that pops up every now and then.

I -love- Arizona. I'm not in love with the state politics, but let's not let that get in the way of love. "Warts and all"...etc etc...

Tucson is one of the friendliest and most beautiful places I've ever been in my life. Tohono Chul Park is a national treasure. The Tucson Botanical Garden is awesome. Unless you're stuck in between a few tall buildings it's almost impossible to not have a great view, too.

When me and my wife go to Tucson we usually stay at the casino (and we don't even gamble). This supposed "bad" part of the city is -nothing- compared to what I've seen in other city's financially depressed areas. The people are awesome even if you witness some "shady people" doing their thing. We've never felt not safe there.

We see art everywhere all over the city...from businesses, from home owners, from the city itself, and of course from artists. We see murals and projects in "bad" parts of the city that are respected and not bombed/painted-over. Respect. It may not be ultimate respect, but there's a level of comfort and respect that we admire.

Every time we go there we discover more treasures. It's so much fun for people that love being outside...so much variety.

I love taking a look at your site to see things I've never seen and to remind me of things I enjoyed in the past.

    Thanks.
