Dried Fruit ~ aka Proboscidea Paraviflora :)

This devil's claw is rendered in epic proportions in this striking cast bronze sculpture ("Large Devil's Claw") by Spencer Kane Edgerton.   1. I don't recall seeing that around. Maybe because everyone had grass lawns then. My parents switched to desert landscaping in the 1980's.

  2. It's easy to miss until you start to really look for these beautiful, elegant pods. I have one included as part of a fall arrangement in my living room.
