South of France? Italy? Nope - Tucson's east side

As I rounded the corner I thought I had stumbled into a charming village in France or Italy. No, I'm still sharing photos of my wonderful day at the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch. Here is their "Hiking Department" office.

    I told my friends who winter in Tucson about the place. They were so funny! Apparently they had brunch there once but the smell of horses was a bit too much for them..............the photos don't show that! LOL.

    Wow - I am surprised to hear that! I spent a lot of time there and I never noticed a horsey smell. In fact, so many flowers were in bloom I DID notice that. Maybe they have very very sensitive noses! (:
