Hawk in the 'hood ~

I was on the phone with a friend when she said, "OH there's a hawk on my wall!" and she ran out to take this photo. It is a Harris Hawk and I was surprised that he was so close to humans and dogs (her dog was barking in the back yard at the bird and it wasn't fazed).     This is a carefree and fun blog, Jim. I like the focus on nature and WOOF! dogs. My favorite things. You shoud cover the animal day at Tucson botanical gardens .
