A new old Restaurant ~

I am so happy that the long-closed Saguaro Corners Restaurant has reopened! It was closed years ago and new owners have just revamped it and are serving a Mexican menu. I am glad they kept the original sign! The feature of this place is the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that permit wildlife viewing. We saw lots of birds but there will definitely be javelina sightings for sure and maybe even a bobcat - who knows? Drive out on Old Spanish Trail to get there.

  1. I'll have to check it out next winter! Marking it on my list!

  2. I particularly like the martini glass and "Cocktails" part of the sign. Be prepared that this is more of a beer and tequila joint now than a "shaken, not stirred" martini lounge. (:

  3. Wow, didn't know it had been closed for so long...years ago it was quite a treat to go because it was a bit pricey...but worth it to see, in the beautiful evening, the Javalina herd with babies, and the Coatamundi with their huge tails, right outside the window while you sat at your table for dinner. Welcome back, Saguaro Corners, and thanks for keeping a wonderful vintage sign!!
