Just the other day as I was walking my pups around the neighborhood I was admiring all of the sage bushes in bloom in my neighbors' yards. And I wondered why mine was lagging behind and looking less-than-stellar. This morning I opened my front door and VOILA! My sage bushes had bloomed overnight! Beautiful.
I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:
TDP- Are the tall pink things Sagebrush? Not what I expected.ReplyDelete
Hi Roseann - It's the early morning light - the blooms are actually vivid purple. The bush is called Texas Sage.ReplyDelete
