Slices of bread?

I frequently pass this yard art and it has so many different looks. From this angle I think it looks like slices of bread spilling out of the bag. What does it look like to you?

    Looks like an abstract interpretation of the rare crested variety of saguaro cacti. http://www.nps.gov/sagu/naturescience/why_crested.htm

    I've walked past this sculpture many times and my best guess is a bird wing.
