Here is another "Where is this?" photo for you to ponder. As frequent visitors to the site know, from time to time I post a photo of a Tucson location and the first person to identify it wins a "fabulous" TDP t-shirt featuring the expressive Desert Museum ram saying, "Monday already?" Good luck!
That huge tree trunk in the planter is a clue, but all I can think of is Tohono Chul, which isn't right. This is puzzling...and I love it! Will keep tuned for the answer!
Hi everyone, This photo is a view of Govinda's restaurant from the courtyard. This beautiful property has a restaurant, peacocks, and a koi pond! It's also a spiritual center. A Tucson Treasure for sure!
Hi, I did a Google search and this sounds like a wonderful serene place to eat, wish I'd known about it when I lived there...there are photos of the buffet and the food looks so scrumptious (ha, don't get to use that word too often) and it's good for you...score!! Hard to believe this place is in the heart of Tucson and not in the foothills, :) The Blue Willow has always been a favorite of mine...You know that wonderful place, right?!
Oh yes, the B.W. is wonderful! And still has the same kooky gift store in the front and the same wonderful food. Govinda's is really a fantastic place to eat. Every time I go there I leave feeling very healthy and peaceful. Can't ask for much more than that, right?
Love the Southwest? Love Tucson? Every day on "Tucson Daily Photo" you'll see a new image that might be beautiful, unusual, fun, or maybe even inspirational.
Welcome!
Monday already?

I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:
Looks like an older type building. Is it a restaurant downtown somewhere?
