Wow - a FAN PHOTO!

WOW - I am so excited to share this photo of Marty, one of the site's followers, who is wearing the "famous" Tucson Daily Photo T-shirt "Monday Already?"  AND... to make this even more great he is at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and is standing in front of the very same ram that is featured on the t-shirt! Is this cool or what? Marty, you rock! (:

Day 3: All is revealed ~

Day 3:  Good guess, Roseann but not a winner this time (you are probably the record holder in that department!). This is one of the wall displays at Caffe Milano, one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. For more info about it, click here.

Day 2: Not a single guess? Jeez! Here are two clues -- this music-themed location is in downtown Tucson and it has a foreign name.

OK you Tucson gurus.... this wall decor is pretty distinctive. Anyone want to guess where this is? For previous winners, please sit on your hands for a day and give others a chance to try their luck!  (: First person to identify this location wins a "fabulous" TDP t-shirt! Good luck!

Have you eaten in this Room With a View?

Day 3: Charming downtown eatery - all is revealed!

Day 3:  This beautiful sunflower mosaic is part of the charming patio decor at the lovely Cafe a la C'art adjacent to Tucson's Museum of Art. Never been there? Oh you are in for a treat!

Day 2:  OK - here are some  hints. The sunflowers are not real nor are they painted. They are mosaic flowers that decorate the outdoor patio of a popular restaurant. Now does anyone have a guess??

Hello everyone! It's time again for a "Where is this?" contest! Previous winners please step away from your keyboards for a day and give a new sharp-eyed site visitor a chance to be the first to identify this Tucson location. AND... winner receives a "fabulous" TDP t-shirt for correctly identifying this location. Good luck!

All is revealed!

Wow - not a single guess as to "Where is this?"   It is the Pantano River Walk at Lowe's (Speedway and Kolb). Beautiful beautiful landscape views from there. This is a wonderful biking and walking trail.

Here are two more images from the mini park area. The space is decorated with self portrait tiles created by students. Fun! Check out "Connor's" portrait - is that a coyote sitting on him? Is he in a sleeping bag? Very mysterious!  (:

The Pantano River Park Trail follows Pantano Wash northwest from a junction with the Harrison Greenway to Tanque Verde Road, providing direct trail access to thousands of residents of Tucson. The smoothly paved trail features undercrossings at every road, allowing for safe and uninterrupted travel throughout.

A future extension will continue the trail northwest to the Rillito River Park Trail. Both trails, along with the Harrison Greenway, are integral components of a larger trail network called The Loop that will one day encompass 130 miles of trail throughout Tucson and Pima County.

No guesses so far!  OK - here are some clues. This beachfront property is east of Swan and south of Grant Road.

ORIGINAL POST: This looks so inviting... a restaurant right on the beach! It looks REALLY inviting right now with our truly awful heat wave. Where is this?? For regular visitors to the site you know that the first person to identify this location wins a "fabulous" TDP t-shirt. Good luck!

Time for another "Where is this?" All is revealed...

Oh boy! It's that time again to have you answer (or guess!) the all-important question, "Where is this?" The first person to identify where this is wins a "fabulous" TDP t-shirt! Let the comments begin! Good luck.

Day 2:  Here are some hints: The location is south of Tucson and is a place that is familiar to most Tucsonans.

Day 3: CONGRATULATIONS to Roseann who correctly identified the location of these flying carpets!  Roseann is one of the leading "smarty pants" site regulars and she quite often identifies the locations. The cool thing about this art installation ("Another Way to Fly") is that the "carpets" are created in glass by local glass artist, Thomas Philabaum. Read more about this great project here.

  1. I don't know. A quick glance at this and I thought it was an arrow pointing up and wondered what it is pointing to. If I were to guess at the location I would say PCC downtown campus.

  2. Hmmm...illuminated strips of bacon. Must be in front of a restaurant. (Ha-Ha!)

    1. We actually HAVE a restaurant in Tucson called "OINK" and their slogan is, "Breakfast. Lunch. Bacon." But this isn't their sign! Good guess, though.
