Wow - only one guess so far on the current "Where is this?" Here's another view of this interesting landmark. This is looking west. You can see that this is located right on a major roadway and I'll tell you it is south of downtown. Any more guesses?
I tried to use binoculars to see the name on that stop light street sign, but all I can tell is that it's a short name, like Ajo, but I know that's not right!! I'll be so interested to see what the answer is and what those monoliths are guarding.
