Too bad this wasn't a "where is this" photo...I think it's the building near 22nd street on Wilmot and used to be Annabell's Attic, selling beautiful antiques!
Oh heavens! You all just jogged my memory. I'm dating myself now but there used to be a bar in the early 80s named Cowboys at that intersection. Significant for the male dancers one night a week. Kathy
Hello Kathy! Ha-ha, I'll date myself right along with you because I too remember that bar/night club called Cowboys...I've sometimes wondered who might recall it and the 80s scene in Tucson!
Love the Southwest? Love Tucson? Every day on "Tucson Daily Photo" you'll see a new image that might be beautiful, unusual, fun, or maybe even inspirational.
Welcome!

I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:
What a GREAT photo! FUN!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference to see art that doesn't have a southwestern flavor around there.

ReplyDeleteElizabeth! Yes, Yes, Yes! You are correct. Annabell's, however, has moved to another location and the store is now another furniture store.
