I just love this wonderful trompe l'oeil treatment on Tucson's historic Train Depot windows! Groups of travelers are depicted having dinner as they wait for their train. What do you imagine this couple is discussing behind THIS window? It's fun to speculate!
Considering I am currently researching my family genealogy, I would imagine they are hoping there is a job and a nice place to live at the final destination.
That is a good one. The male traveler seems glum - perhaps he is, as you suggest, discouraged. She might be trying to cheer him up that things will get better.
