What were the marketing people thinking? Here is a truck advertising "Myrcenary" beer complete with a soldier guy making an escape with loads of loot -- a mercenary. Well, this seemed like a puzzling name for a beer and according to their website it is named after Myrcene, a component of essential oils from the hop flower. So... what's with the illustration of the mercenary? Thoughts?
I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:
Mercenery = Moonshiner? I do think I see hop flowers (look like chrysanthemums) scattered behind the escape trike... Oh dear, does this brewer think prohibition is still in effect? :DReplyDelete
