I like the neat shadows this makes! Looks like two industrial size springs, escaped from a giant mattress, laying on their sides. Hmmm, not a bike around. I'll check back to see your 'reveal'!!
Hi everyone, Yes, indeed, these are bike racks! And I can't explain why they were empty because racks just a few feet away were nearly full. These cheerful "Industrial Size Springs" (thanks, Elizabeth!) are on the downtown campus of Pima Community College (Stone & Speedway).

I'm a transplanted New Yorker who loves the Tucson climate. On New Year's Day I have a bit of fun calling my (snowbound) east coast friends to announce that I'm drinking coffee while sitting on my patio. (:
